Registration

When opening an operator holding account, operators of installations have to indicate the user ID of the independent verifier who is response for verifying the installation’s emissions. In order for these user IDs to be known beforehand, all independent verifying bodies and their verifiers have to register with ECRA.

After checking whether the verifying body that applies for registration has been accredited by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management, the verifying body receives a unique alphanumeric user ID per verifier. Independent verifying bodies or verifiers are granted access rights only for the verified emissions table of those installations whose operators have nominated them as competent verifying body or verifier.
